Borough High Street

This is a commercial project, located on Borough High Street, which is close by to London Bridge. The project is currently refurbing the 4-storey office block, whilst adding two extensions. One extension is at the rear of the building, extending the existing 4 storey complex, and the 2^nd, is a 2-storey vertical extension increasing the building to 6-stories. Additionally, the project also includes a new basement structure to help maximise space – creating a total of 7 floors.

Our company was contracted to complete both the 1^st and 2^nd fix carpentry.

1st fix carpentry

• 1^st fix joisting infill and 18mm ply to the existing stairwell
• Level 5/Level 6 Joisting/ply
• Flat roof construction (level 7) Joists/Ply/Box gutters
• Installation of AOV timber upstands/Ply x5
• Timber parapet/ply works
• Level 5 Balcony installation
• Installation of 2no external doors for Basement/Roof access
• Level 5/Level 6 Gypsum Gyproc/sound block hush board

2nd fix carpentry

• Internal FD30 door sets (including ironmongery)
• Skirting and architrave
• Window Board installation
• Flooring
• Final finishes (Mirrors, bathroom appliances, coat hangers etc)
